I think as long as there are plenty of accomodations and a few activities to choose from, it doesn't matter where we have the reunion. I agree with Mary that I would love to share this experience (of knowing so many extended family members) with my children. It is important that they know how much FUN it can be to spend the weekend with all of their cousins, aunts, uncles, etc.....

I am delighted to think that some of you young adults are interested in having the Grant Family Reunion again!  I have sorely missed seeing all our families together for a long weekend...it was wonderful!

I love the idea of getting the Grant Reunion up and running again!  Thanks Mary, for heading us in that direction!  Hopefully you will get a lot of positive feedback.  Thomasville may be a good place to start the reunion back up for sentimental reasons...plus, I believe that just about all of us live in either Georgia or Florida, and although it isn't right in the middle distance-wise, it's pretty close.  It will be wonderful to reconnect with everyone, no matter where it is.  Please let me know what I can do to help!

Name the place and date and I'll be there! Mary, I'm so glad someone finally did this. Thank you! I've been saying for years I was going to. I agree with Debbie that T'ville is a good option, but if we need a place with more for the kids to do, we can always look into Wakulla Springs or other such locations. I will go north or south too. Can I do anything to help pull this together?

I think the wedding coming up soon will be a great start!  Someone will just have to pick the time and place and go for it.

I think you are right, Suzy!  Melissa's wedding in October will be a perfect beginning, but we can't stop there.  Let's take that opportunity to talk about a reunion and keep the momentum rolling!!
